It would be our last day driving in France. We rented an apartment using Paris Attitude and we were scheduled to meet the apartment owner at 1:30. We filled up on gas at the Super U and saw a camel and a llama right next to the gas station.
Breakfast.
Goodbye beautiful country side. I'll miss you.
We saw people hunting for birds.
Driving was hectic in Paris. I got stressed out trying to navigate to the apartment. We took a lot of wrong turns. We also drove through a crazy huge round-a-bout around the Arc of Triumph. I should of taken a video of it, but I had too much anxiety. We later found out from Rick Steve's guide that driving in Paris isn't something you want to do. We would of done it anyways.
We got the keys from the owner and dropped off all our luggage. Louie wanted to fill up the tank, but I wanted to return the car and not bother navigating the Paris streets to find a gas station. We returned the car and luckily they didn't charge us for the gas. It was just a little below full. We walked 2 km back to the apartment.
It took us a while to figure out how to use the washing machine. By the time we got settled it was dinner time. Louie didn't have any clothes because it was all in the laundry.
So, I ventured off and brought back a sandwich,
quiche,
and pizza.
I really enjoyed the time we had driving through France. I'm extremely lucky that I have Louie to drive everywhere. 3 days in London, 2 weeks of driving, and now Paris for three weeks. Lots more to explore!
Another song that played over and over and over on the radio...
