Conan

I wanted to get the Conan poster, but where would I hang it?... the office, future garage? I ended up not getting it thinking it'll be junk/clutter. Sitting at my desk now and seeing the blank wall behind my monitor, I regret not getting it. DAMN IT!!! I should of gotten it!

Shabu Shabu

15lbs. of Wagyu beef all gone. I gained at least 1 to 2 lbs just over the week. I've eaten more than 3 steaks (1 lb. each at least) and we finished the last of it hot pot style. This was the first time we used our meat slicer. This beef spoiled me. This will not be the last time we'll get mail ordered meat. Not only that, after watching Food Inc. we'll probably opt for the more expensive produce now, organic, non-pesticides. I want a garden.

Wagyu

We purchased Costco's deal of the day for 15 lbs. of fresh Wagyu ribeye beef and had it shipped to my parent's house. We never bought meat online before. It came in a Styrofoam box with some ice packs, 2nd day delivery. I love it when I get packages in the mail. It's like opening a present. Cut into 3/4" slices, salted, peppered, grilled, eaten. So so good.

Red Velvet Cake

Not a big fan of red velvet cake, but Louie is, so I made one from a Food Network recipe. I only have 2-nine inch pans, so I made 2 layers instead of 3. I didn't want to make the entire amount of frosting, so I halved it and used it all for a crumb coat which came out to be the perfect amount. Any more and it would be too sweet or gathered to the side of the plate and thrown away. I could of made more frosting for a better presentation, but Eeh...atleast it tastes good.
